Europeans do not ingest enough of vitamins and minerals
The ILSI (International Life Sciences Institute) affirms in its last publication that the European citizens (the survey was made taking into consideration people living in 8 of the bigger EU members, among which Spain) do not ingest enough of vitamins and minerals. About health problems the current mission of the European institutions are to tackle overweight and to deal over-consumption. The matter is that there is a substantial room of improvement in the intake of these valuable substances. A clearer knowledge about the vitamins’ shortage in the diet of Europeans help authorities to better know and deal with public health.
