Other sources of toxins
Toxins can enter our bodies through a number of other products. Clothes stored in wardrobes and cupboards may contain toxins passed from their production and their marketing.
Plastics, found everywhere in our homes, can emit numerous harmful substances. One of the better known examples is that of bisphenol A which is used in the production of baby bottles. Plastic is also one of the most common materials used to make toys.
Various electrical appliances such as televisions, mobile phones, computers etc. can contain dangerous substances like heavy metals or flame retardants.
Batteries, felt-tip pens, glue, plasticine and candles are some of the other products we should be made aware of.
